Construction Update
The old front window of the house in the existing dormer has been removed. This is the hole for the new window....
This is the new window, pretty ain't it? We will be reconfiguring the angled trim work and of course will be replacing the stucco.
This is an existing window (viewed from the interior) in the gabled ends (north and south elevations)- where the bedrooms will go.
The rented scaffolding up on the South side so the existing window can be removed and the new can be put in.
This is the North elevation, with the new window put in. See the difference in the sizes? They look really nice from both the exterior and interior. The windows are going to be HUGE for these bedrooms!!!
We passed two of many inspections recently, both and electrical and framing which allowed us to put in the subfloor. Jerry, Bill, Dad and Jesse worked their tail ends off this past weekend putting in the floor and erecting the side walls to each of the bedrooms.
Supervisor & Workman extordinare, Jesse...calling for plumbing quotes for the new bathroom.
My father, cleaning up the attic after getting the South window in.
