Addie in Grandma's lap (1st week)

Addie's 2 month appointment has passed and she is doing well in all areas. She weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs, 10.2 oz which placed her in the 43%...a huge leap since her 2 week checkup. The doctors were quite impressed with her eating skills and said she's doing perfect especially for being born 3 weeks early.

She has also achieved some developmental milestones!!! She's smiling and cooing lots, but her favorite time to do so is when getting her diaper changed- go figure. She slept through the night for the first time on July 10th and has since done it three other nights, making momma very happy. She has found her hands, studies them intesly and has figured out how to suck on her thumb- which is reminiscent of her big brother. We're working on eating from a bottle & increasing tummy time.

Also for those who want to know how she compares to her big brother: Siven was loosing all his hair at this point as a baby, and Addie hasn't lost any. She still has brown hair, with a hint of red to it and deep dark blue eyes, not the crisp bright blue ones her brother was sporting at this point. So to me, and a few others, she is turning out to look much more like her daddy- we'll just have to wait and see on the personality.
