Christmas Day

Christmas amongst all the chaos, was great for us. We attended Christmas Eve service at the church we started attending, which was really nice- but Siven wasn't too cool with it since it was his bedtime. Christmas morning we woke up and Siven was excited that he was finally able to open his presents- of which about 95% of them were for him. He LOVED it, and we loved watching him open them. He got lots of new toys (which dad is happily sharing with him), new books and art supplies. Amongst his favorites are a very loud tractor, a set of pretend food and dishes, a slinky, an electronic etch-a-sketch and some books. Jesse's parents came down late that afternoon, did more presents and ate the 5 course meal that I was so happy to have made (with the exception of having to go to so many grocery stores for the food, see below). EVERYONE enjoyed their dinner and the evening was spent relaxing.
