family update

yes i know its been a while. sorry. remember to scroll down though, because i've posted pictures all the way back from easter and more.

things are well- here's a quick update of what's been happening in our lives:

• we've toured some schools for Siven and found one. He will be attending an immersion language school that's in our neighborhood in the fall. This is his last full week at daycare, and through out the summer he'll be spending time with me, grandmother(S) and at a few daycamps we've found for him. he is super excited about his new school and can't wait to learn spanish!
• addie is growing like a weed. she's just under 20 lbs, has 5 teeth and has quite a personality. she babbles all the time and if she feels like it she'll actually pronounce some real words too. her favorites at the time are: no, dada, mahmaa, bubble, milk and me. she can also say siven, bottle & that.
• we bid farewell to miss godiva the chocolate in our squash. she is now living with my parents and is much much happier, so we're happy for her.
• the house is making progress!!!! see the house update for that.
• yard is starting to shape up. flowers, roses and apple trees are all coming back nicely. the backyard is undergoing a huge transformation (since godiva isn't around to tear it all back up) and the kids will actually get to play in it this summer.
• we bought a share of a local farm- via this thing called a CSA- and will be getting farm fresh produce from June - December each week. we are super excited about the fresh new veggies we're gonna get to munch on...and i think we might even be looking into purchasing a cow- or some portion of it. a dream jesse has had for quite some time.
• i got laid off on june 6th and am now looking for a new job, while jesse is super busy at his job and working lots of overtime.
